IDS 2025: Medency’s Innovations Unveiled in Cologne

From March 25 to 29, 2025, Medency participated in the International Dental Show (IDS) in Cologne, the leading event for innovation in the dental industry. This was a valuable edition that not only showcased our technological advancements but also strengthened our core identity: the upgrade of the TRIPLO DENTAL LASER, the PBM handpieces, and the RDP protocol for peri-implantitis treatment.

RDP Protocol: The Laser Solution Against Peri-Implantitis

During the event, Medency introduced the game-changer Radial Decontamination Protocol (RDP), an innovative method for managing peri-implantitis. This protocol utilizes laser technology to:

  • Effectively decontaminate implant surfaces.
  • Promote peri-implant tissue regeneration.
  • Prevent complications and improve implant prognosis.

Thanks to its targeted and minimally invasive action, the RDP protocol sets a new benchmark for implant health.

TRIPLO DENTAL LASER: Advanced Technology for Superior Performance

The latest evolution of the TRIPLO DENTAL LASER brings significant improvements to laser treatments in dentistry. Thanks to the combination of three wavelengths – blue (450 nm), red (635 nm), and infrared (980 nm) – it offers unprecedented versatility:

  • Faster and more precise cutting.
  • Enhanced coagulation and reduced bleeding.
  • Accelerated healing processes.

However, the real breakthrough in this version is the new handpiece holder, designed for better usability and ergonomics, along with a sleeker, more modern design that enhances the device’s aesthetics. Additionally, a new intuitive interface has been introduced to make the user experience even smoother and more efficient.

This upgrade reinforces Medency’s position as a leader in dental laser therapy, providing professionals with increasingly high-performing and reliable tools.

PBM Handpieces: Innovation for Tissue Regeneration

Another key innovation presented at IDS 2025 was the introduction of the new Photobiomodulation (PBM) handpieces. These devices, designed to optimize tissue healing treatments, offer:

  • Reduction of post-treatment inflammation.
  • Stimulation of cellular metabolism.
  • Improved patient comfort with a non-invasive approach.

PBM technology proves to be an essential solution for enhancing dental practice performance and delivering optimal clinical results to patients.
